Time to Forage

Being as I'm home from work today, the chickens get some extra time to forage.

All you have to do is walk up to the coop and they are clamoring at the door to get out.

It's called being COOPED UP.

And.... they're off....

They just love being out after a rain to look for worms and bugs.

It did rain this morning...

...and so goes the weeping cherry.

You are living my husband's dream. He would LOVE that little coop in our back yard. Glad you're girls got to enjoy the extra time foraging after the rain.
Blessings!

I have been wanting a chicken coop for some time now but I travel too much for work. Have you ever done a post on the how-to, basically all the factors involved in having a chicken coop?

How cool is that! I would love a few chickens around here. FYI, my new URL is www.debbie-debbiedoos.com. You have to remove my old one in order to add this one.

Ahhh, I just said the other day that I wanted some chickens so I could go gather eggs. My husband said we could just go buy eggs. He wasn't exactly thinking the way I was. But how fun.

That is a great coop. I can see how secure your girls are and my husband framed ours up sturdy so now to just overlay with the additional wire.
