Limelights

Today I'm loving my limelights.

They are a garden favorite of mine because they

are so easy to grow and have such tall blooms.

I also love flowers that have a hint of green in them,

and these have just enough mint.

I also finished another cane back chair.

I recovered the seat with a grain sack...

working on a set of four of these for myself,

and the process is slow going because of life.

Currently, I have 3/4 done.

Limelight hydrangeas are perfect for a cottage garden bouquet...

...an armload of these signifies some of the last of

summer's glorious treasures.

-enjoy the day-

Your flowers are always so pretty, Andrea. My rose bush is drooping a bit because of this California heat. Every now and then, a new pink rose will bud and my heart will sing.

Hi Andrea: The limelights are gorgeous. I love hydrangeas, and have a pretty blue-purpleish one that is blooming away right now. They are the easiest cut flower arrangement ever--one big bloom in a vase can easily be enough! I also really like your redone cane chairs--very pretty.

Nice chair- the grain sack covering looks great and beautiful blooms! My limelights are blooming too and they are one of my favorites!
I need to take some pictures! I cut some Annabelles yesterday because they went from white to a nice green shade and I'm hoping they will hold some of that color as they dry!

Morning Andrea,

I hope that all is well with you.

Thanks so much for linking up again with Green Day

I am sorry that I have not been around for the last week or so
but I have my Mum staying with me at the moment and feel guilty
if I don't give her my time and so haven't been on the computer much.

I will have so much catching up to do when Mum goes home that it will take me until Christmas
to get through all the posts I have missed!

Have a lovely weekend.

Limelights are beautiful, love the color. I'm looking to add some more hydrangea to my garden and will be on the lookout for this one. I also love your chair, love the grain sack on it. I've been looking for grain sacks forever and don't find any. Maybe you've gotten to them before me! Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration with Sunday’s Best – you helped make the party a success!

Do your hydrangeas start out white and go to green? That's what mine do and I'm wondering if they are the same.
