This classic 1920s antique buffet server was a find on craig.
We found her listed at a Beverly, Chicago neighborhood home,
where she has lived her whole life, since 1921, until now.
Can you imagine a piece of furniture being in a home
for 90 years?
Begging to be redone, of course we accomodated her request.
Look at that little carved drop detail!
She preferred the classic white chocolate paint.
She is headed off to a church auction,
so hopefully she will raise some funds for the church!
By the way, here's her "before" shot.
And again, her "after."
And this little guy?
He's a Home Goods find... a Bethany Lowell.
He's a holiday favorite!

Hope she brings in a ton at the church sale.
You always do a beautiful job on your finds! I'm still loving the white chocolate paint. I'm sure Beverly will raise a lot for the church.
Your buffet is absolutely beautiful. She might be 90, but with new make-up, she looks great. And, your Halloween display is great.
Woooow!!! Congratulationssss!!!
I live very close to Beverly area, and one that I visit often since it is know as the "culture" center of the south side. The homes out there are unbelievably beautiful and so is this buffet. I think she served well in her old look, but the lighter color brings out all her great detail and charm. I knew she was so close I would of grabbed her myself. Beautiful work on her! Thanks for sharing your inspiration with Sunday’s Best – you helped make the party a success!
Oh, I have been wanting to go to Home Goods lately. I love your orange and black cat. He's soooo cute!
