Not So Random Pairings

Sometimes you have things that wouldn't necessarily go together,

but you can make them pair up wonderfully with a little work.

I have a chair collection in the garage that has been growing exponentially.

Dan doesn't like me to pick up too many chairs because they can be hard to store

-and take up a lot of space-

until you find a use for them.

So, I finally was able to get a grouping of them together and make them work collectively.

Enter a little table with a leaf.

And here is my little set...

A matching bath in turqouise paint with a mocha glaze on the chairs

-and a contrasting white table-

helped to pull this little country folk kitchen together.

And now my random pieces

have been pieced together.

That turned out great- you just have to have the patience to wait for the right piece to come along and pull it things all together. Good job! xo Diana

It looks great! I love the chair color. And white for the table really makes the whole set pop. I know what you mean about chairs. I have them piled to the ceiling in our extra bedroom. :)

Andrea,
Wow - you are seriously talented! From this fabulous set of painted chairs to your union jack bed and dresser - love it all! And then you throw chickens into the mix - could you be any cooler? From one thrift shop diva to another - great!

I am so glad you commented on Ms. Vanity. You have wonderful projects on here. I would love if you would link one up to my Rustic Restorations Weekend Linky party that starts Thursday evening. I love the different chairs! That table looked so boring, but you made it lovely! I did this same idea in our bedroom, because we have mix-match furniture :) Now it works! I am your newest follower:)
