Breakfast for Two in the Morning Sun

...in an imaginary world!

School starts THIS WEEK, so
it's actually more like-
who's going to go let the dogs out, they're up.

Ok, now make the coffee,

...and wash the dishes from last night's snack.

Do we need to run a load of laundry before we go to work
so we have clean soccer practice clothes this afternoon?

This garbage stinks,
it needs to go...

ARE YOU UP YET??
IT'S QUARTER AFTER!!!

No one made the kids' lunches last night??
CRIPE!!

Hurry up, it's raining,
bring the dogs in,
wipe their feet.

DON'T LET THEM JUMP ON YOUR SCHOOL
CLOTHES WITH WET FEET!

Go change your shirt.

You put your bag in the car, but you didn't put mine in the car?

My coffee got left on the counter.

We left Subby's trumpet at home,
turn around and go back.
BOOK IT!

What's that old song??
"Back to life... Back to reality!!"

So did you like my Grandma's dreamy wedding china?
One can dream, right?

Oh I thought you were inviting me over for brunch but I prefer tea.

If you do not mine. My blog was lay back with coffee talk if you want to look after but I see your kids back to school today. Really. Wow!

Smashing set. Invite me over for supper.

sometimes dreaming in an "imaginary" world makes being in this one just a little easier! xo

What a beautiful breakfast table. Your grandmother's china is so pretty and blends perfectly with rustic table. I remember those school day mornings when we were always in a rush to get out the door.

Love the china. What a beautiful breakfast table...too bad life interrupted - lol. It sounded a little too familiar. :)

I am not looking forward to having to get up at 6:00am again. I've gotten quite used to being lazy this summer!

Seems like a long time ago that I had all that drama in the morning. The thought of breakfast for two sounds wonderful though. Love you Grandma's dishes.

Andrea,
These rushed, hurried days when the kids were all in school were some of the happiest days of my life. Believe me, dear, they grow up so fast, and one day you turn around and they are 32.

I am in love with your Grandma's wedding china. I've never seen anything quite like it before.

Love,
~Sheri

Your breakfast table is beautiful! I had a few dessert plates in that pattern years ago, don't remember where they came from though.
Summer does not seem very long, kids back to school already :) or :(
Have a great weekend.

Yes, dreaming is a good thing. Too bad we have to jump back to reality now and then. This fun post made me smile. I so remember those days when my kids were young. Your grandmothers china is absolutely gorgeous! Love the doily, the chairs, and of course the entire table! Thanks for sharing it with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
