I found some awesome NEW granny square afghans
at a garage sale for $2 each!
I thought maybe we could use them in the vintage camper reno,
but for now they're in my front room.
One is a multi-colored pattern,
and the other has orange, red, pink, and white.

It's kinda my bright way of adding a little vintage autumn coziness
to the home. Most of my palette is soft, so these
lovelies add some intensity.
My sofa-bench is my favorite spot to vegg now when I need a cat nap.
BUUUUTTTTT.....
I won't be curlin' up with a blankie tonight,
it was 97 degrees today and they let out school early
because we haven't any A/C in the building.
Today I need to just COOL off and VEGG
sans new blankie.

So I will appreciate my fall beauties today

Same thing here, Andrea. I love your afghan though...but not the heat and humidity- xo Diana
I LOVE these, Andrea, my mom made me one when we first got married but our dog literally ate it. So that brown one is just too cute, in my book!! love it on your adorable sofa!
Such lovely work!
I just came blog hopping and got stunned here. Terrific pics!
Wow! Those are beautiful. Someone spent a lot of time crocheting those beautiful afghans. They are a treasure. Karie
Andrea,
I can't believe these afghans were only $2.00 each! All the work and care that went into making them must have taken hours. I really like the multi colored one. The colors are so pretty. You always find the best treasures.
Happy Wednesday.
Love,

Love your afghans and what a great buy. I've been very drawn to multi-colored afghans lately and have purchased 3 for our camper. I enjoy curling up with them. They are truly a lost art.
Love your afghans. Its a great way to add beautiful colors.

Great finds. I tried to make one of those one time. Made about a hundred of those stupid squares, but never put them together. Off to see if I still have them.
Those are very nice afghans, you be happy in a couple months. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. xoxo,Susie
Crazy weather... You just don't know what it will be around here. I remember my mom having a similar style crocheted blanket! Perfect fall snuggly
