Make A Joyful Noise

Oh, sweet delight!

A giveaway prize just for me!

Michele of Nook and Cranny has sent me some

delicious vintage styled millinery.

Indeed, life IS a little brighter, when we delve down deep

into the nooks and crannies of our soul,

studying the stitches that bind us all together in a prolific sort of way.

These two sweet vintage roses appear to be conversation with one another.

"My, you're looking lovingly blush today."

"Why, thank you, deep pink, and your curls are perfectly styled just so."

These darling custom lace trims will decorate

a wee romantic tree this winter.

I'm thinking this black burlap crow all decked out

in her sweet pink will be the tree topper.

Thank you, Michele, for sponsoring your giveaway

of these lovely shabby vintage tattered treasures.

My daughter already loves the birdie!

Everyone, you must stop by Nook and Cranny and see Michele's

beautiful ideas and adventures in repurposing flea market and auction finds

into new salvaged styled treasures.

Have a lovely Sunday evening!

Holiday Booths at the Kane County Flea

Today we took a little weekend trip to the holiday fair at the Kane County Flea Market in St. Charles, IL.  We did a little shopping for some goodies, and the boys looked for some trains to add to their collection.  Everyone enjoyed a waffle cone (most of the flea is hosted indoors for the winter season).

I had the opportunity to photograph two distinctly beautiful booth spaces today.  Get ready for some Christmas bliss!  All displays featured are styled by the artisans listed.  Contact information is provided for you as well.

Oh, what a vintage day...

A Package from Lovely Beasts

My BBFF Emily from Lovely Beasts sent me a package that I received this weekend.  She really knows my taste and style.

Along with a beautiful marigold yellow damask purse, she sent along a variety of paper ephemera.

Emily scored an antique copy of a New Zealand newspaper, dated from the late 1800s.  She framed some of the adds and included her own flair and finishing touches.

Just read the details in some of the adds...cheese vat?  That was popular in industry back then!

Emily also included some handmade gift tags that she styles.  I love the typography on them.

Emily has an Etsy shop.  On her Etsy, she features vintage finds and appropriations.

Just look at those fancy ladies under the 'Town and Prairie' label.  I think they were more about the town and not the prairie.  Did you know that image is on a postcard that Em made just for me??  Her handwritten memo is on the back.

These lovely vintage papers are going to find a home in my kitchen!

Thank you, Emily!  You're the best!
